Meanwhile in other celebrity news, Things were looking up for the “Teen Mom’s” Amber Portwood when Child Protection Services closed its investigation on Ms. Portwood regarding if the reality star was a fit mother or not. Unfortunately soon afterwards things turned sour. Amber Portwood was faced with the possibility of jail time after violating her probation and now dealing with the consequences of the auto accident she was involved in while rear-ending a man’s vehicle in Indiana. Ms. Portwood was in the car accident on Friday December 16th, 2011 at 8:08pm as stated by E! News. The auto accident occurred because Ms. Portwood reportedly was following too closely behind the car in front of her and didn’t have enough time to break and stop. Reports show the man’s Saturn estimates up to $2,500 in property damage. Reminds me of an incident in Hayward a while back. Speaking of that, this Hayward auto repair is superb.
Ms. Portwood claimed “the car in front of her slammed on his brakes and suddenly made a turn,” also stating he didn’t use his turn signals which the man in turn denied and said he did. “This man slammed his brakes in front of me while I was driving to go see my mom. It barely scratched his car, “Portwood tells E! News. “I was driving under the speed limit. I guess they missed their turn and stopped really fast to turn, it sucks.”
Regardless of whether the man in from of Ms. Porwood broke suddenly or not, the law states that a driver must not follow too closely behind another car so that it has time to stop in case of sudden breaks in front, regardless of the reason why the person in front broke.
