I just returned from my Denver hotel in the mile high city and am back on the home front, so time to get blogging here: Many Hollywood’s stars have begun many trends in clothing and jewelry and the latest is the choice of platinum jewelry. This includes engagement rings, with celebrities such as Kevin Jonas proposing to Danielle Deleasa with a 3 carat cushion cut platinum diamond, with a double shank band and 210 round pave diamonds from Jacob & Company. Ivanka Trump also sports a 5 carat cushion diamond engagement ring that is from her own jewelry collection Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry.
Personally, I tend to like the Techno Master Watches and other assorted bling bling jewelry such as diamond hoops, hip hop items and even Diamond G Shock Watches. I also like mens diamond earrings and gold franco chains but I am most partial to techno master watches I think. Another star on the platinum engagement ring band wagon is bachelorette Jillian Harris that received a pear shaped diamond set in a platinum band, with six baguettes and 94 round cut diamonds. In fact I think she may have been at the same hotel that I was while I was in the Mile High City of Denver.
Platinum while a part of the trend for the A-list is also one of the smarter choices for engagement rings, being stronger than other metals. This metal also loses less metal over time, making it more durable to hold diamonds and other precious stones and is a perfect choice for family heirlooms.
According to Los Angeles Police Department officer Bruce Borihanah, actor Tom Sizemore has been arrested after an alleged criminal domestic altercation. The actor was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violent and was held on $20,000 bail. This is Sizemore’s second arrest for domestic violence and the actor has also been arrested on drug related charges in the past.
Sizemore age 47 was said to have been taken into custody at approximately 9:30 p.m. and the incident took place in the 100 block of Beaudry Avenue located near downtown Los Angeles according to police spokesmen Chris No. By this time he must have a good Los Angeles criminal defense attorney or better get one.
The domestic altercation was with his fiancé, who declined to be treated by ambulance personnel that responded to the location of the incident, according to the Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
This is not Sizemore’s first brush with the law for domestic violence according to a 2003 conviction after abusing then girlfriend Heidi Fleiss. He had better have a good attorney because there is no defense for this type of behaviour.
If you have been watched much of the cable and TV programs such as Oprah Winfrey or perhaps the ‘Dr. Phil’ show as of late, then you may be somewhat familiar with some of their latest superfood crazes which are often endorsed by celebrities. I find this trend interesting and understandable-celebrities in general and actors in particular have every motivation to look for any edge they can find in terms of weight loss, overall energy as well as antiaging benefits. Oprah Winfrey eats mostly nuts, legumes, vegetables, fish and chicken. That seems pretty healthy to me and she seems to have an abundance of energy.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has mainly brown rice and lean meat (oh and she also does yoga which clearly helps). Claudia Schiffer is into honey, black grapes and drinking tomato juice, among several other superfoods.
Actress Rachel Bilson is, according to a close friend, severely shaken up and distraught after her home was broken into. The actress known for role in the movie Jumper was in Canada with fiancé Hayden Christiansen when her home was broken into. Thieves made off with bling bling jewelry such as diamond earrings, a gold bracelet, gold pendant and other items including designer clothing, a vintage shoe collection and a Chanel collection from her home in Los Angeles. But the bling bling jewelry was probably the big thing, I believe.
The actress’s mother who stopped by her home to check on it while Bilson was in Canada discovered the break-in. Police have stated there is no sign of forced entry and are still investigating.
The jewelry that was taken included family heirlooms from the actress’s grandmother, Bilson’s representative confirmed the break-in and said the stolen items are estimated to be hundreds of thousands of dollars., if not in the millions.
