A Look at celebrities on the big island, security issues and more

I just returned from the big island to take a look at some real estate over there on that beautiful island. Speaking of that, I noticed that many celebrities have real estate on the big island as well as Mauai and oahu too. With so many movie stars and other celebrities in general turning to armored cars or other armored vehicles today it is interesting to take a look at the history of these life savers which started out mainly as life takers when deployed by the military and equipped with machine guns and other weaponry. I mean, these days when people think of bulletproof cars they tend to think of Armored Mercedes, Armored Lexus, Armored Toyota and other related types of Custom armored vehicles like that. While Armored Cars and other armored vehicles have been around for a relatively short time, just over a century (the first armored car was invented in the United States at the end of he nineteenth century, they have played a major role in most major conflicts since that time. The armored car was first used in actual combat by Italy during the italo Turkish war of 1911-12 and this weapon system helped the Italians rout the Ottoman Turkish forces during that conflict in which most of the battles occured in Libya. As an aside if you do require a leading big island real estate firm or agency then I do suggest Sotheby’s. They have handling the real estate needs of the big island for a very long time indeed. Now back to the primary story: Then just 2 years later the tank was first used by the British Army during the first world war. At first the Germans were terrified of the clanking metal monsters but the shock soon faded as they discovered that their field artillery was relatively effective against them. The tank did not truly come into it’s own, however, until the second world war which began on September 1, 1939 when the German army launched a successful invasion of Poland. Their attack was
spearheaded by sizeable numbers of tanks as part of the Blitzkrieg (lightning war) strategy formulated by Hanz Guderian, in which highly mobile and armored units attack using massed tanks closely supported by dive bombers and other ground attack aircraft. This was a bog change from their deployment in the first world war when they were spread out over a wide front which was not nearly as effective. A key component of the blitzkrieg concept was that of self sufficient armored divisions which had not only tanks but other armored and tracked vehicles in direct support such as armored scout cars, self propelled artillery and assault guns, mobile infantry usually in half-track vehicles, mobile anti-aircraft, anti-tank, engineere and a myriad of other related support mechanized forces. After Polands quick surrender the blizkrieg rolled over numerous other countries including France.
